I am feeling very good lately due to my humble nasilemak stall(NLTJ) is doing great.Business prospers like never before,hopefully it will last till end of time.I must also thanks the facebook for putting our business known to many from Seremban to Sydney,Parit to Perth.I must say it's marvelous what FB had done to us.

Life goes on

Now I am into 2010 and at the same time I m reaching 55 comes september.Looking back it has been a pretty good years for me and the family especially last year.My wife and I managed to perform Umra during the last 10 days of Ramadan Al Mubarak dubbed as the mother of all umra.We even spent the Aid mubarak in the holy land,what an experience.Alhamdullilah it's all make possible due to His blessing.Bizz has been good and insyaAllah we are planning to bring along our kids namely Intan and Hakim come this year Ramadan whom both are the heires and heir to the NLTJ.If all goes all well my wife and I are planning to perform the ultimate -The Haj. probably this year or in 2011,hopefully by then my kids are able to handle NLTJ on their own.I guess it's high time for us to pass the baton to our kids and proceed with our life fulfilling our dream of travelling seeing the world and be grateful to the creator The Almighty ALLAH. As for now we are just hoping for a blessed health,being 55 there are limitation to every little task that we endured.

The restlessness

After a long month of non stop 'YMing' and chatting my sparring partner on the other end is on leave today and suddenlyI feel a sense of restlessness and emptiness.Before the days was filled jokes and laughter today it is all quiet.I realised now how this new technology is slowly affecting my life.Though only recently was able to own a laptop the speed that it changes my life is awesome,before I would be sitting infront of the TV all nite long but not anymore,days and nite are now occupied by latest news,emailing chatting and god knows what.The frontier of knowledge from the internet is indeed infinite.If a ripe old age man like me could get hook to it what more a whole lots of new generation only thing dont get sway away from the right path I guess one could gain loads of knowledge in abundance from the internet,well for one I sure do.

Dissappearing tagged friends

After 5 months into the tagged thing looking for new friendship all that I got is less than 20 out of that three were active for a couple of weeks and now it reduces to only one whom stays loyal as a friend for that I salute you zai for sticking with me all this while. You are indeed a true friend who without failed will keep in touch with me either through YM or phone,keeping me company all day long.Sometime it amazed me how she could put up with me with the non-stop chatting I too was spellbound with her patience and never once refusing our chatting and networking.I assume in her I have found a true blue cyberfriend.Hat off to you zai.

I have been neglecting my own blog for quite sometime,I guess it's high time for me to continue writing the journal on a daily basic or at least 3 or 4 time a week thus sharpening my writing skill along the way if there is any.Lately my love for writing thicken and I could feel the adrenalin flow in me whenever I started writing there is sense of fulfillment,I believe there is a writer in me that is crying to get out!
Yesterday for the first time I tried my hand at contributing my idea to the Reader's Digest the magazine that I had been subscribing for the past 20 years.The magazine that lifted my English greatly and recently I have just 'met' a friend from the tagged's website whom could polish up my english further so bytee welcome to the club, I am really honoured to have you as a friend.

IT was indeed a pleasant suprised when one of my tagged friend and her family make an appearance at our stall yesterday dated 10-5-09.The first of not so many friend in my tagged circle that visited our stall.I was a little bit taken back meeting her in real live cos all this while during our tagged messaging she seem jovial and relax but yesterday she was a bit reserved and laid back,nevertheless it was a happy occasion we talked on various issue but mostly on business at the stall,but I was spellbound with her husband humbleness clearly a religious person looks relax and poised we click instantly so to speak.Whatever, the meeting was worth posted in my blog,It was indeed a historic moment.

I was having this problem with my sign in to my blogspot, It's somehow got stuck somewhere and I couldnt proceed to my blog but out nowhere this guy azam appeared like a god-send solution.With just a little click here and there it solve my problem instantly.Well I can see now that there arent many new kids on the block that could match this young charming guy.I just couldnt help but salute him.

Another suprised occurred earlier in the day.I received a tagged message from my first ever cyberfriend telling me that she's coming to have breakfast at our stall tomorrow.I am a little nervous at the prospect of seeing her 'live' because all the while we know each other through internetting but I guess it is good thing cos she will now be the family's friend not just mine.Well cik gu Rozainor A, welcome to NLTJ Desa Petaling.

Tough weekend

This week seem to be the toughest cos my son hakim whom work on the nightshift at the stall suddenly took a day off just to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday at Bandar Muazzam in Pahang.Initially it was planned that my daughter namely Intan will cover up for him but all of a sudden she is down with bad coughing and high fever so the replacement is naturally me.Already I had put up a dawn to dusk job earlier on and now need to proceed for the whole night,a tall order indeed.But there's no option I need to go on but lucky enough I have a staff in Mok whom did an excellent job ensuring that I will be doing the minimum task cos he knows that my heart prohibited me from pushing too hard on the job.I let mok did all the work and assist him only when the need arise.Last night we saw his true colour,before, we did had doubt on his honesty I guess we were wrong.The moral of the story is that always think positive in any situation.The truth will surface naturally.

A new great friend.

This week something great happened,while toying with this tagged thing I came across a lady of my age befriending me.Though knowing her for only a couple of days but the intimacy was like we have known each other for years.Everything about her is mesmerising,I couldnt have ask for more,She treated me like I am the only friend she had though many are in her tagging list.This lady is really something a natural great friend that only come once in a million years.I dedicate this article solely for her,may the decent and trustworthy friendship grow healthily over the years.Zai you are really a great friend,may god bless you.

CNY day

Today being a Chinese New Year day almost all of the stall near ours are closed.Many thought business gonna be a little slow but being in this hawking bizz for almost 13 years I sure know what to expect.Chinese isnt like the malay they only had a big feast on the eve of the CNY whereby the malay is feasting on the raya day itself.Thus most chinese will look for 'makan' first thing in the morning that when we come in,opening the store today is indeed a right thing to do.Even when I am writing this, good flows of chinese is flocking the stall.Last but not least I am taking the opportunity here to wish my chinese customers 'Gong si fatt chai'

Eid Adha

Today is Eid Adha day a very important day on the muslim calendar. We take 2 days leave to celebrate the auspicious occasion,but those hope vanishes into thin air cos my wife isnt feeling well there arent any gourmet dishes. as a matter of fact we had roti canai for our breakfast and good enough missus managed to cook a simple nasi minyak for lunch. That about it unlike Eid Mubarak there were load of goodies on the table.No even visiting friends and relatives.It puzzle me that society had over look the concept of Eid Adha we suppose to celebrate Eid Adha on a bigger scale but instead we are gloryfying Eid Mubarak more.Some celebrated it for the whole month of Syawal.Well Wallahwaalam.

Raya vacation Part 2

The rest of the days during our stay was pretty quiet.From Mondays onward the resort was almost deserted due to many holiday maker were heading home since most of them had started work and of course the school is resuming. The quietness seem to be a blessing in disguise cos we felt like owning the place,why not we could all have the pool among us not a single foreign soul in sight. Its all in the family. Monday afternoon saw a little suprised a young man befriended a daughter of mine namely Azam came a visiting. I see great potential in him a guy surpassing his age with traces of intellectual and striking demeanour whom I believe will be a great asset to his family and eventually the nation. I was surprised knowing that he is following my blog and I presume he will probably be the one and only person as my blog follower.Well at least there a soul out there who has the heart to read my writing. Guess one has to start somewhere.Back to our holidays as it came toward the end the longing for home is getting thicker packing the beg on the last day was sheer fun never felt so good doing the packing up,well the saying goes no better place than home. We safely reached home on Tuesday 7th at 2.30pm.Though fresh to be home but the memories of Ancasa resort do lingers on we are sure to be back and treat that as our 2nd home and to keep alive those magical moment I posted a few images here for the sake of fond memories.

Hari Raya Vacation Part 1

As always come Hari Raya my family and I will go on a holiday since I aint got no kampung to return to.Last year we choose The Everly Resort in Klebang, Malacca. This time around we prefer the charming Ancasa Resort in PD.This was the 2nd time we stayed at the beautiful resort.We felt the hotel is amongst the best from all Palace Vacation club panel hotel locally that we have stayed before.The cosy ambience make a perfect getaway for us. Being a smalltime hawker and had been working round the clock all year round what better way to treat ourselves for a much deserving holidays

We arrived at 1.30pm on the 4th day of raya,being a saturday the resort was packed with holiday maker, we unpacked and I alone headed to the beach and had fried beehon at one of the stall that strecthes along the narrow-winded shore.Back at the room missus was preparing an early dinner for all of us. One thing good about the suite is that we could secretly do our own cooking, by right it wasnt permitted by the management. Well I must admit that we cant afford the hotel food at least for now perhap next time around missus wont be having all the trouble cooking, we all could laugh all our way to the coffee house.

My very first blogging

Its 25th of ramadhan today the day whenI first started blogging not much to write just getting the feel of it. Look like raya is around the corner well the festive mood seem to be everywhere being a smalltime hawker now is the time to close shop for a couple of weeks since we never had any off day before except of course during last raya.Running a 24hrs "Nasi Lemak"stall we just cant afford to close shop on regular basis.It would be troublesome and tiresome not to mention the exhaustion of reopening again. Since Im all alone now no neither parent nor brother and sister all have gone back to "Rahmattullah" so there isnt any kampung to fall back to,having said that thus every raya I will bring my family for a retreat this year we ll be spending our holidays at Angkasa Resort in PD.Hopefully this year raya will be merrier than the last.
